Aer Lingus NDC Content Now Available to Agencies Through AirGateway

Aer Lingus NDC content is now live on the AirGateway platform. Travel agencies, TMCs and consolidators can shop, book and manage Aer Lingus NDC offers through BookingPad and the AirGateway API, alongside the rest of their NDC content.

The connection gives agencies direct access to Aer Lingus fares and ancillaries across its short-haul network from Ireland and its transatlantic routes between Europe and North America, priced directly by the airline. It comes in the year Aer Lingus marks 90 years of flying.

What agencies can do with Aer Lingus on AirGateway

  • Shop and price: live NDC offers through AirShopping, confirmed with OfferPrice. Different fare families and cabins can be combined in one booking.
  • Book and pay: instant ticketing, or hold the booking for up to 30 minutes before payment with credit card.
  • Add ancillaries: paid seats and bags at the time of booking, or added later to a ticketed booking.
  • Cancel within 24 hours: free cancellation with a full refund within 24 hours of booking, for trips departing more than 24 hours later.
  • Bookings flow into agencies' existing mid- and back-office processes via AIR/MIR files, so Aer Lingus NDC sales don't require manual re-entry.
